Pindari
Dam is smaller than Copeton, but is still a boating haven and
excellent fishing is offered both in the dam and the many streams
that feed it. The main river that feeds it is the Severn
River.
The dam was increased in size and is now three times its original
size. New picnic and BBQ areas, amenities block and boat ramp have
been established. Pindari is situated about 25km east of Ashford.
The dam is a great fishing destination, as it is regularly
stocked with natives. It is also fed by some fantastic creeks and
rivers that are home to huge Murray Cod and Golden Perch making
Pindari a great impoundment if you want a good catch.
